The new Berkley GlowStik radiate their own light requiring no need for other light sources to enhance their visibility. Photo luminescent GlowStiks are great for pier fishing, catfishing or any night fishing activity. The two-piece GlowStik rod operates off of three AAA batteries that are stored in the rod handle. Two L.E.D. light sources, one in the blank above the handle as the other in the tip of the butt section, constantly recharge the glow pigments built in to the resin of the rod blank. The result is 36 straight hours of rod illumination. The strong and durable E-Glass fiberglass rod blank is nearly indestructible.
