Returns & Exchanges

If you are not satisfied for any reason you may return new and unused items in the original box with all of its paperwork, and with all accessories within 30 days for an exchange or refund. Some items such as software, hooks, lures, baits, and plastic baits cannot be returned once they have been opened. Customer is responsible for all return shipping charges and the exact shipping charges we paid to ship this item out to our customers (this is waived if there was damage in shipping). Defective merchandise shall be returned directly to the manufacturer under their return policy. All returns must be insured and postage prepaid. Please, clearly print/type your name and address on the outside of the package. Merchandise must include a copy of our invoice or packing slip. Shipping and Handling is non-refundable. Send back to us by UPS Ground, Fed Ex Ground or USPS Parcel Post Mail. For your protection, please insure the package for its full value, and keep the tracking information for your records. Cast Away Lakes reserves the sole right to refuse the return of any item. Special order items can not be returned to us. A 15% restocking charge can apply on returned items. A 25% restocking fee will apply to all orders that are returned to us non delivered.

Canceling Your Order

You are more than welcome to cancel your order at anytime as long as your order has been been processed or shipped. If you order has been shipped you will have to return this package to us for a refund minus the shipping charges. If you order has been processed (we charged your credit card) and has not been shipped in 4 business days we will cancel your order and give you a full refund. If you cancel you order within the 4 business days you will be charged a 5% cancelation fee. We are charged fees by processing your order and these fees are non refundable to us.

Sales Tax

Ohio residents only will pay 7% state sales tax. We are not required by law to collect any Sales Tax if we ship out of the sate of Ohio.

Restrictions For Knives

The sale of all dangerous knives is restricted by law in New Jersey, New York, Michigan, California, and Illinois. A dangerous knife is defined as any knife having a blade of five (5) inches or more, or an overall length of ten (10) inches or more. You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a knife.
