Shimano Tallus Stand Up Rods
Stand Up rods were designed for the west coast giant yellowfin fishery. Long range anglers were looking for rods that could handle the abuse a 300 lb tuna could hand out and successfully land them. These rods originally started around 7'0" in length and have gradually become shorter as anglers realized that longer rods transferred more pressure back to the fisherman. With he innovation of the new TC4 construction and poven actions, Shimano has developed the ultimate line of Tallus Stand Up rods designed to stop the baddest yellowfin tuna in their circles. The end result is more fish caught.
